How RISET conducts its Research

RISET's methodology of conducting research on its reports will be comprehensive. It will initiate identification of problem statements through exhaustive consultations with key stakeholders in the security, economy and technology domains.

It will incorporate human intelligence through primary inputs from leading subject matter experts through interviews, surveys and questionnaires even as the latest AI tools will be utilised to gather open source intelligence on the topic/theme of research. A draft concept note will be written by the in-house research team.

Open and/or closed door interactions with a wider group of subject matter experts will be conducted to gain deeper and wider insights on the topic/theme. Subsequently, the final report, concise, will be formalised consisting of data driven analysis by using the latest statistical models and software tools.

The report will be disseminated to the concerned stakeholders with (i) precise actionable recommendations including a cost-benefit analysis (ii) defined time lines necessary for implementation and (iii) the relevant stakeholders involved in the decision making process.

RISET will also provide its expertise in the implementation of the recommendations in the report including through conduct of events, training and workshops for skilling, re-skilling, up-skilling and connecting clients, collaborations and stakeholders to end users in India and other rising geographies.
